Mobility/Flexibility

Mobility and flexibility are critical to our training, and there are multiple ways to go about this!  Some advice is to make this a regular part of your routine and do this IMMEDIATELY when you wake up.  Flexibility/Mobility are sometimes tough to fit into the middle of the day, so that regular routine can make a big difference.  Enjoy!

    1. Check out the bottom of your daily WOD in your ChalkItPro app, you will always see some type of mobility or flexibility drill you can do on a daily basis.  Your coach can give you guidance here if you ask them!
    2. Even just stretching for 15-20 minutes a day with all the old school gym class stretches you know can work.  The key here is being sure to time your holds for anywhere from 1-2 minutes each.  Here are two routines you could steal!

    3. ROMWOD is a great daily guided experience through varied stretching routines.  It cost ~$15/month, & requires no equipment.  If you’d like to not have to think and constantly have an on-demand stretching routine, this is your ticket.  The first 2 weeks are free!
    4. GOWOD is another great mobility experience.  Here, you will be put through a self-administered mobility test.  On a daily basis , a tailor made program will be designed for you to do. It will focus on your specific weaknesses or “hot-spots” that you may have.  It will also custom make a routine for you if you tell it your movements in your workout for the day!  The initial test is FREE, and the programs vary between $7.50-$10.00/month
